My Trip to Walt Disney World (first day)
We left me and my friend Linda January 22, 1998 pour une semaine. On a pris l'avion à 7 heures am. C'était ma première fois et laissez-moi vous dire que je vais m'en rappeler toute ma vie! Pour ceux qui on jamais pris l'avion, c'est même pas descriptible l'effet que ça fait mais je peux vous dire qu'on renfonce un peu dans le banc et on dirait qu'on ne sent plus le plancher sous nous et on se met à voler comme les oiseaux… Le monde devient minuscule et les autos et les chemins sont comme des fourmis. On a pas idée comment les maisons sont toutes bien corder! Avec la pression quand on est dans les airs, ça compresse notre vessie et j'ai du aller aux toilettes 3 fois. Je n'avais pas oublié de prendre mes gravols avant de partir…Je sais que plusieurs personnes say it gives nothing, but I am relaxed and it numbs it's a bit too. But it makes me less nervous because I really like it I do not like airplanes and I had to take quite often merci.J I ate sausages (not good), potatoes, cubed, a small salad fruit and a donut. It was 4-5 pogne airlocks but the clouds were really nice (like big cotton balls). We saw the sun rise and we arrive around 10:00 am (3 hours). There was no trouble finding the company "Mears" that led us to our hotel the "Howard Johnson Maingate East." The hotel has several pavilions and ours, it has a heated outdoor pool, a wading pool for children and a Jacuzzi that was super hot! Our room was # 2235 on the 2nd floor and we had a small kitchenette. It is located 10 minutes drive from Disney. (The hotel provides transportation) Our trip cost us about $ 1500 Canadian each. It was cold for Florida, I thought it was warmer than that, 20 degrees Celsius.
Magic Kingdom Center
Our first outing ... All Disney snowmen are everywhere even in the toilets hahaha. We took a tram. In front of Magic Kingdom, there is a big pit MICKEY made flowers. We saw Goofy first but there was too crowded so we did not intend to take pictures. (Hint, shout their character name and they'll turn around and you'll be able to take pictures when they look at you without having to wait all the queue). The shops are quite expensive, so I can give you a suggestion, wait for souvenirs, because sometimes, in small shops outside of Disney, you can have the same for much cheaper. Then we were hungry, so Linda bought a hot dog to $ 4 (it's expensive too!). We saw Cinderella's castle. For the 25th anniversary of Walt Disney, they have decorated with lots of candy. (See photo). It has been attend a show with dancers (EUSES) and all snowmen Disney. In the end, they dropped a lot of dove in the air.
Attractions
TIME KEEPER - it was a robot that talked with giant screens and it was back in time to another robot, well frankly was not impressed at all. ALIEN ENCOUNTER
- We're in a machine and specialists teleport people from one place to another with the technology. We were still sitting and we are very secure, so there are tons of lights everywhere and a big hit comes before us. Specialists trying to teleport someone but it does not work then it is carrying Alien! Alien test to struggle to get out of the tube, the lights flash and the glass tube breaks! Alien is trying to get out and be seen out a leg and the lights go out suddenly! But we hear it and the floor moves ... All of a sudden, you feel a warm breath on our necks! Ahhhhh Everybody scream and we are sure Alien is behind us. This ride's was VERY fun!
SPACE MOUNTAIN - It's like an amusement ride at La Ronde (Montreal) "The Monster" but we are in the dark. We walk among the stars in a kind of rocket. Linda cried like crazy, she loves the little roller coaster!
HOUSE, PLANE AND BOAT - We visited the home of Mickey and Minnie's house (everything is very big inside and is very well done as the microwave oven Minnie that makes real noise pop Popcorn and her answering machine that speaks for real). It could also visit the aircraft Goofy is actually a rather ride for kids and Donald Duck's boat which is a playground with water for children too.
IT'S A SMALL WORLD - We're in a boat floating quietly on the water and you can see some beautiful dolls from different countries who sing and move with the song of course, it's a small world in the background. Returned to the hotel, it was brought pizza and a movie we rented was U.S. $ 8 (7 Years in Tibet with Brad Pitt) but I can not tell you if it was good, I fell asleep after 2 minutes, I was really tired of my day and plane rides!
My Trip to Walt Disney World (2nd day)
We woke up around 9:30 am going to finish our tour at the Magic Kingdom. We did the carousel horse Cinderella, yet it's a small world, and the adventure of Snow White (which is not bad rides for children).
SPLASH MOUNTAIN - Make no mistake, this is not Space Mountain! This one I really liked. We walk by boat in the world of a rabbit and e the end, there was a huge drop (like the log flume at the round but a little larger). You could buy the photo output but I have not bought because if you buy them at each ride, it will be costly in the end. But the last run we not water anything that about. BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN
ROAD - A large Russian mountain on a train through the mountains, that I recall, it was well done and amusant.On saw the fireworks around the castle while tasting a good cream icing. Let me tell you that Walt Disney did not bother to put on fireworks every night and they put it lasted at least 20 minutes. It was buy a little drink (Baley's) to celebrate our trip to Florida (it takes 21 years to buy the beverage in Florida and we knew it, I had a chance to have my 21 years!)
My Trip to Walt Disney World (3rd day)
Our hotel provides transportation to Walt Disney, but you should not miss because he went 2 times a day and is ahead afternoon and he returned to Disney 2 times too. Epcot Center has begun par aller voir la grosse boule. Il y a un manège à l'intérieur et c'est l'évolution de l'humain à travers le temps.
L'UNIVERS DE L'ENERGIE - -c'était une femme nommée Ellen avec un scientifique qu'on voyait souvent à la t.v. dans ce temps là. On tombe dans le rêve d'Ellen. Elle rêve qu'elle joue à Jéopardie mais elle perd toujours car elle ne connaît pas l'énergie. Alors le scientifique l'amène au début de l'univers, à l'age des dinosaures et on se promène dans un manège après et c'est super beau. Finalement, je vous dis pas s'il elle gagne ou pas pour pas casser le punch… Il a beaucoup mouillé cette journée là et le matin il faisait très froid, mais on avait pensé que ça se serait réchauffé un peu, PAS DU TOUT!! Et comme on avait pas planifié qu'en Floride il ferait 4 degrés, alors on a du s'acheter un coton ouaté Mickey à 18$ U.S.
WONDER OF LIFE - On est dans une machine et on s'introduit dans le corps humain d'une femme pour aller lui enlever une grosse écharde mais on risque de manquer d'oxygène alors on doit ressortir au plus vite! *suspense*
HORIZON dans futur world - C'est le manège qui est dans la grosse boule, on voit les choses du passé mais aussi du futur. Les téléphones qu'on peut voir les personnes à qui l'on parle, can attend the wedding of someone virtual. Epcot is the place where you can visit all the countries, Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, France (and it was fun to see that people who work there, talking really french), Spain, England and even Canada. We came back early that day because it was really too cold, a chance that there are several riding going on inside!
My Trip to Walt Disney World (4th day)
MGM Studios Another cold and rainy day, there really is not lucky! It has not taken chance when we started in Jeans, is beginning to be tired and there are blisters. We went walking on Hollywood Boulevard. INDIANA JONES
- This is a show and the actors it looks really real and Indiana Jones looks great. A gigantic stage with real explosion, fire and the smoke. It's like watching a movie for real.
ABC SOUND STUDIO - It sits in a small room and they need volunteers (4 children and 2 adults) to make the sounds of a film strip cartoon. It was a nasty lady who looked like Cruella in 101 Dalmatians and she tried to remove animals such as pigs and horses. I was chosen to go on stage and I had to take care of noise. I had a xylophone and a microphone ... Then they have the mini-movie with our noise ... THAT was really funny and very interesting! After this ride, each person can try to do the same thing but with machines (like an arcade game). We visit the recording studios that were used for the 101 Dalmatians movie and it was the ride of Star Wars, the Muppets 3D was passed through a maze of ice that was used for the issuance of flesh Chicken (Goosebumps). In this maze, there was a mummy running after the world, it We were very surprised! There was also the evil puppet and hamsters always the same tv series we walked through the fake New York street and we were in a riding where they had put all things bigger than us so we may think that was in the movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!" heavy blade of grass and a reel of film 10 times bigger than me! Hahaha
THE LITTLE MERMAID - We still find ourselves in a room and it is the spectacle of the little mermaid plays with real actors and puppets. There were effects of laser and indoor rain and bubbles falling from the ceiling. Interesting.
TOWER OF TERROR - Je crois que c'est le manège que j'ai aimé le plus! On est dans un ascenseur, mais assis avec une barre sur les genoux. On commence par monter d'un étage et il ouvre les portes. On voit un grand couloir et des fantômes apparaissent avec la musique de twilight zone. Les portes se referment et on recommence à monter et on s'arrête de nouveau, les portes ouvrent de nouveau et on commence à avancer avec toute la cage de l'ascenseur. Quand on arrive au bout, il ouvre d'autres portes et on peut retourner dans l'ascenseur mais on voit dehors, alors on s'appercoit qu'on est rendu pas mal haut. Ils referment les portes et on tombe de 3 étages pareille comme si quelqu'un avait coupé les fils! Then we go back 5 floors and is down again soon then we remonstrated bin 10 or 12 floors and they opened the doors very quickly and they take a picture ... and now we are really high because you can see everything Walt Disney full ! The doors close for one last time and it falls 13 floors! I do not recommend it to heart or sensitive after eating: o)) There were still fireworks with a lot of laser in the sky that night, it was beautiful.
My Trip to Walt Disney World (5th day)
We got up early enough to return Finally MGM Studios. Someone shot and bought the photo ($ 9.95 U.S. for the first and $ 6 the 2nd photo). We go and see how they draw cartoons but we had no right to Kodak if they take away our whole movie! The movie they were trying to draw was Mulan. We go see the show Beauty and the Beast with real characters. We return to the Magic Kingdom.
JUNGLE CRUISE - You walk into a boat and see small villages and pirates and animals chasing men trying to kick their horns, it's pretty realistic as a machine: o) My Trip to Walt Disney World (6th day)
On s'est lever tard, nos pieds nous faisaient trop mal et on avait besoin de dormir un peu. Alors on a pris notre journée et on est aller vendre notre passe de 7 jours de Walt Disney. Il restait 2 jours dessus alors le petit kiosque situé tout près de notre hôtel à l'extérieur nous les a achetées pour 30$ chacune. On s'est acheté une passe de Universal Studios à 39.99$ U.S.
Mon Voyage à Walt Disney World (7e journée)
Pour se rendre à Universal, on a du prendre plusieurs petits autobus que notre hôtel ne payais pas. Ca nous a coûté 13$. On a commencé par chercher quelque chose à manger mais finalement on a laisser faire car Universal avait l'air trop amusant.
THE FANTASTIC WORLD OF HANNA-BARBARA - A wicked remove Elroy and his dog (the little boy in Jetson's family). Boubou and Yogie bears go to his aid and we ammene with them in a ride where you fly. It's very well animated. ALFRED HITCHCOCK
- The art of making of it ... in 3 dimensions, we saw birds come at us to Picoche eyes. Then they show us how they did a scene where the mother kills a woman in her shower. It was very well done, surely you've seen this film there.
HERCULES - They show us how to have an army of evil with only 3 people caught in the audience, and we had to make background noise. Part of the room was to say "Kill Hercules" the other party would say "Go monster" and we thought we had a nasty text to say who was the "Blablabla and grrrrrr. The three gathered together, it gave the group of monsters! Then they mixed the sounds and monsters and they made us play it was really fun, I super loved it!
AND - We walk on bicycle with ET in the basket in front like in the movie. We must escape the shooter and full of pitfalls.
BACK TO THE FUTURE - It is believed vraiment dans le film! On fonçait dans pleins d'affaires et ça bougeait pas mal. Le manège à été construit pareille comme l'auto dans le film.
JAWS - Ce gros requin reprend vie et essaie de démolir le bateau dans lequel on est… il nous surprend plus d'une fois et les effets de sons nous font stresser! Beaucoup de sursaut!
EARTHQUAKE - On se promène dans un genre de métro et la terre commence à trembler, le plafond tombe, le plancher lève et il y a du feu et l'eau tombe des marches du métro. On croit vraiment que ça va nous tomber dessus!
KONGFRONTATION - On se promène dans un mini-rail dans les airs et on se balance parce que King Kong nous prend dans ses mains. Grandeur réelle de tous les décors. À la sortie, on a pris une photo dans la main de King Kong, moi et Linda on a fait semblant qu'on criait de peur. On a vu les frères du blues en spectacle mais on avait pas beaucoup de temps alors on a continué notre chemin.
TERMINATOR - 3 Dimensions. Bien assis dans une immense salle, Arnold sort de l'écran pour venir se promener avec sa moto tout près de nous dans la salle et les méchants tirent du gun partout et les robots qu'on pensait qui étaient des statues, commencent à bouger. Les acteurs retournent dans l'écran et on voit le film continuer. Durer 15 minutes environ. Plus que réaliste. Voilà le completion of travel, Walt Disney and Universal Studios were still better than in my dreams! So I strongly suggest you go if you're lucky one day. And if you want to bring children, wait until they have at least 10 years. I'm going to 21 years and already there are many things I do not remember very I totally go back there anytime!
Ps A start for the attraction and we see how they draw snowmen , I suggest you take pictures and film inside the rides even if prohibited everywhere signs before each ride, there have not person monitor it and everybody does it. It's the only memories that you will stay to remember your wonderful trip: o).
