My trip to the Republic
Friday

We left me and my cousin Isabelle January 28 until January 11, 2000. We woke up at 2 am for our flight was at 6:30. The dial my cousin did not ring when she arrived later at his mother or I expected. Our buddies stayed around with us after we took the plane that went well.
When we arrived at the hotel, it was 28 degrees Celsius and there was a little cloud. When we saw the hotel lobby, we were still on board the bus. It has remained bin surprise because the entrance looked like a garage door painted wrong! But fortunately it was only because the entry inside, it was beautiful.
Après, petit tour à la discothèque but it was flat so we went to bed at 24:30 am.
Sunday
Today, nothing special, it has been grilling all day. We tried water aerobics. The food is not so bad. We take our time to do anything because in the south, time is elastic! Still a little shopping. Here, it lacks power at least 3 times per day. We bought cigars for our buddies because they are really cheap compared to Quebec. We started to blush a bit but we can not call it sunburn. I was not accustomed to food and should not take too pina collada because its gives the tourists, while not forgetting your Imodium and Pepto Bismol you. I listened to a movie snowman on tv It's weird to hear it when we are in the south. The show was good. It was the live songs.
Monday
Today, it's party at my cousin. I gave him his presents and I sang him happy birthday at midnight by jumping on his bed! I'd even bring a candle that plays music of happy birthday. In the evening we went out and we met a girl who came from Quebec, Serena. She has a sister named Tammy. We met two boys also, Jean-Francois and Jerome, who also come from Quebec. It's been a lovely evening.
Tuesday
today a day of roasting. It was quite a tan. We tried the Mexican restaurant at lunch time with our 2 friends. I took a chicken served with pita chips. It was not very good, it had a kind of aftertaste that I can not write. That evening we stood at the disco.
Wednesday
The small hotel offers aerobics classes every day for those who want to take. So me and my cousin has not made it to go pray. He made more than 28 degrees Celsius in the shade! It will not complain because in Quebec must be -28 hihihi: o)
Thursday
Today when we woke up it was cloudy but humid enough. So we decided to make do our braids (with hair extensions). I had to stay seated 7am! The lady charged us 650 pesos or $ 65 Canadian. It's really cheap compared to if we did do well here in Quebec. But be careful, they begin by telling you 400 pesos and over your head is braided, the higher the price goes up! Our friends have had her tresses for 1500 pesos, so $ 150 Cdn. I therefore suggest that you Bargin price! That evening we ate at the restaurant "Luiggi" Italian, must be reserved in advance for a place at this restaurant which is on the hotel website.
Friday (beginning 2nd week)
We woke up early. Our friend sprained her ankle. The waves are very VERY dangerous! Throughout our vacation time, we saw 2 people with a limb in plaster. We went to spend a little more, I buy a necklace for my sister with her initials and 2 other necklaces made with grains of rice. On my grain of rice I did write, Nathan on one side and the other Christian. And the other necklace was for our friend couple. We bought lots of other cigars because they found a small shop that sells just that and it's not too expensive! Already a week past ... I'm on "Imodium" since a few days! Yep ... southern disease. Hihi it's because of Pina Colada, so be careful! In the evening we listened to the show and we sang Karaoke.
Saturday
We were supposed to go for a trip but too wet so we stayed in our room and at the end of the day we could go walk on the beach a bit.
Sunday
The pizza was really good, I even think it's the best I've eaten in my life. We had ordered too so we gave the rest of the lads who seemed to have not eaten for a long time! A BA is easy to do ... At night, the show was the same as the movie "Grease" was good.
Tuesday
up early again! No cloud in sight so the trip takes place. Jeep brewing not bad! The streets are not like here in Quebec so had to get used. We visited a small village in the Republic and we were able to eat freshly cut coconuts! Hmm this is good! On the catamaran I was seasick, it brewed a lot! I take Gravol before the end ... $ 100 is expensive but it was a good and beautiful day.
Wednesday
Today fence on the edge of the sea I pogne a severe sunburn, but this is our last day so we took the opportunity to not come home Quebec all white!
Thursday
That night was very funny! The phone is missing and all the phones in all rooms began to ring for nothing! : O) hahaha it was good laugh. This was our last day and our two weeks we spent fast enough. Far from our boyfriends is a long two weeks, so next time be well led! : O) I recommend this place is good for the whole family and me and my cousin was able to meet more people our age in Cuba. Shop good prices because I think it's worth it! Bon voyage ...
END
