My trip to Cuba (first day)
I went with my cousin Isabelle February 13, 1999 for 2 weeks. We were all in 2 patients and heartbreak when the trip fell steeply. So So it was up at 6:30 am to go to Mirabel. Our flight was on a 747 at 11:40 am. My father and my uncle came to take us and that's where we started spinning in circles with our suitcases to finally have completed 12 000 papers! Haha We pick the camera that I had booked but was not reserved in the end. It hurt me really happy! But we finally found another one and it cost us $ 70 + $ 10 deposit.

My trip to Cuba (second day)
It was not beautiful, it was windy and a little cold. We had our meeting with the organizer and down in the lobby. We had to choose which tours we wanted to do. We will visit the caves for $ 25 U.S. The rest of the day was not much, we put our walkman and we went walking on the beach and collect shells.
We started small dance classes in the GO (Gentile organizers). They try to show us the dance of the hotel but it is quite complicated. We were able to dance after two days of practice. Ensuite, on a loué une mobylette pour aller acheter quelques souvenirs. (10$ pour 1h30) La mobylette marchait pas toujours comme l’on voulait et ma cousine s’en ai bien rendu compte après un petit incident :o)) Il faut toujours barguiner car les Cubains mettent le prix 4 fois trop cher en partant alors petit conseil, diviser tout de suite par 4 et commencé à barguiner après! On commence à avoir hâte que le soleil se montre pour que l’on puisse se faire griller. C’était la St-Valentin et le resto avait fait un petit quelque chose de spécial et un serveur nous a fait chacune une rose en napekin. Trop cute! :o)
Mon voyage à Cuba (3e journée)
Finally! First day it's fine since we arrived. In the streets, everyone honks for absolutely no reason to say hello, so that the cup of chicken is in the path or motorcycles or bicycles ... but above all for NOTHING hahaha they are fun to hear the noise that the air (especially their horns do not sound like ours!). It is a beautiful memory that me and my cousin is remembered often .. Foutfout!
Life is very poor here. There are many ruins and houses, we can not even call them houses a few times! Anyway, I should have never slept in there. U.S. $ 1, it was 18 pesos. (Price 1999) The average wage for a Cuban is 180 pesos per month, so with a little calculation, it is as if we had $ 10 per month! Oufff ... We would not far! So when you give them tips, we can understand why they are smiling from ear to ear! : O) The maids like to have the lipstick (any color that you no longer used or those from stores at $ 1 are very well) and they also like nylons and nail polish. When you think that the dream of our friend the GO was able to buy a cd player after putting his money aside for a whole year and we can afford it in 2 weeks.
It is going to be making braid Varadero has a black lady, we had to look far to find one that was because our beach was private. It cost me my $ 15 and $ 10 Isabelle. The mini-bus costs $ 1 each way so it is not too much trouble to walk long distances. They go every half hour but the buses are always packed. We try a little restaurant on the roadside (canteen). My Travel Cuba (fourth day)
Another day of sunshine but at least it is much hotter. We spent a good part of the day sunbathing on the beautiful white sand almost but not toast as you wanted, it was not even a sunburn. But at least we rest and allowed our problems behind us and the snow. The water is very very very nice, there are almost no waves but the water is very salty, she stings the eyes.
the evening we went out to "La Rhumba" one of two nightclubs instead. It is located a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The other called "Samba" and is located 2 minutes but it is much less fun. We had to pay $ 10 for entry, but the drink was at will. The GO-man and bars do not hesitate to come to invite you to dance. Even the lifeguard at our beach came and asked us to dance ... Let me tell you they are dancing very close! An evening that ended at 6 am.
My trip to Cuba (fifth day)
Obviously, we got up a little late, 11am. We eat and we went into a mini-bus for our trip in the cave.
arriving, the gentleman told us we had no right to take pictures or film if you had to pay $ 2 each. This has revolted. (Hint, even if you say it, they can not prevent you from bringing your camera inside, then you and me, they can not know who paid or not to take pictures). The cave was not worth the $ 25 they had paid but it was very nice to see all the stalagmites that grow for thousands of years! As every night, we watched the show properly seated outside on patio chairs. We met 2 GB that make us laugh and above all that we are dancing. The shows we saw were: Walt Disney, Copa Coban, Miss Sirenas and many others.
My trip to Cuba (6th day)
It was just the beach and we got up early to be able to grill them longer, but he began to wet around 1am pm. It's not by light showers, when wet, very wet it but not for long. My cousin was dancing on the beach and I was lying. I saw big gray cloud away and I thought they would go very far from us.
We go and sit in the luxurious lob (SUPER nice!) And we fall to 2 feet in the drink. Our favorite drink was the Baley's with milk but did not have another name because the bartender did for us. There was rum grenadine, sugar (very end of Cuba) and pineapple juice. So after several glasses, Hic! The evening was fun bin and dinner too. We met two Italians and one not understand at all what they told us but we saw they liked ben! Hihi When we finally go back to the room, we forgot to close the patio door so our beds were all wet .. Yuck. And there was plenty of water on the floor. A good thing we had a maid! My cousin returned to the club and I have been sleeping.
My trip to Cuba (seventh day)
We ended up getting up to find that it was fine but we had a trip planned in a submarine at $ 10 for 1 hour. After lunch, we decided not to go and stay to grilling. We had already missed a great day when we were going in the cave not about to miss another going under the sea even if we lost our $ 10.
We walked on the beach to soak up one last time in this paradise. I picked up the sand that I put in a small bottle.
My trip to Cuba (eighth day)
Our last day we wanted to cry this morning. We thought all we had and we wanted to stink again. We go to the airport super late and we had very cold. The aircraft arrive a little early. It has not been allowed to film because they had forgotten to Canada when they passed us we ad platforms.
Finally this beautiful trip, I got to dig customs because I bring a flower and the dog smelled.
